Lesson Plan: Draw the Temple Model

Curriculum Link: Art

Place the model of the temple made in the workshop in the middle of the classroom. The children sit round with paper, pencils and a board to support the paper. They draw the temple. This is both to teach about the temple's construction and design, and  about perspective. It will be useful to point out how the drawings differ depending on the point of view. A display could be made with the drawings in circular order. A lesson in perspective drawing may be necessary.
