Roman & Celtic Armour & Weapons
Both the Romans and the Celts had expert craftsmen who made different types of weapons and armour out of materials such as iron, bronze, wood, and leather.
Archaeologists have dug up some of these items, which you can now see in museums. Many are not in good condition, as the wood has rotted and the metal rusted. Still, they give us a good idea of what gear the Romans and Celts used in battle 2,000 years ago.
