Stones Used by the Egyptians
The
Egyptians liked to use semi-precious stones to make jewellery. Here is a
selection of these stones, and some others from my own collection. Sometimes
they made glass from these stones. We see this in the blue stripes on
Tutankhamun's mask, made from lapis lazuli.
